Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Remote Supply Chain Analyst to optimize manufacturing and logistics operations. This fully remote role focuses on analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying inefficiencies, and developing strategies to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics to implement data-backed solutions across a globally distributed manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain analysis or operations.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R and advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems SAP or Oracle and SCM planning tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory.
• Develop strategies to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with procurement and production to ensure material flow.
• Design dashboards and reports to track KPIs and provide insights.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans.
• Model supply chain scenarios to evaluate improvements.
