Placements24 is seeking a Senior Subsea Engineer for a fully remote role in the global offshore sector. You will lead design, procurement, and integrity management of subsea systems, collaborating with project teams from anywhere to meet safety and cost targets.

You will guide technical reviews, risk assessments, and vendor coordination, while staying abreast of industry best practices and new technologies in subsea engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Marine, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of subsea engineering experience, preferably in deepwater.
• Strong knowledge of subsea production systems and interfaces.
• Experience with API and DNV codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, engineering, and procurement of subsea equipment (trees, manifolds, pipelines, control systems).
• Develop and manage subsea scopes of work per execution plans and standards.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct risk assessments and HAZOP studies for subsea systems.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality.
