Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Sports Sponsorship Manager to drive revenue through strategic partnerships with brands in sports. You will identify, secure, and manage sponsorships, negotiate terms, and collaborate with marketing to activate partnerships.

This fully remote role offers flexibility and growth in a dynamic field across the country, with opportunities to contribute to high-impact sports initiatives from anywhere in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in sponsorship sales, partnership management, or business development, preferably in sports.
• Proven track record securing and managing corporate sponsorships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential corporate sponsors within sports industries.
• Develop sponsorship proposals and present to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and close sponsorship deals with favorable terms.
• Manage existing sponsor relationships and renewals.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications to deliver sponsor activation plans.
• Track sponsorship performance metrics and report to senior management.
