Our client is seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Remote Sports Event Coordinator to manage the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of virtual and potentially physical sports events. This role offers the unique opportunity to work from anywhere while orchestrating engaging experiences for participants and fans within the dynamic Leisure & Sports industry. You will be responsible for liaising with stakeholders, managing logistics, overseeing marketing efforts, and ensuring the smooth running of events from conception to completion, all from a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of sports events, including venue selection (if applicable), vendor management, scheduling, and participant registration.
• Develop detailed event budgets and manage them effectively, ensuring cost control and maximizing profitability.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and execute promotional strategies for events.
• Oversee event execution, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and addressing any issues that arise in real-time.
• Manage communication with participants, sponsors, volunteers, and other stakeholders before, during, and after events.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement for future events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within the Leisure & Sports sector.
• Strong organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
