Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Special Needs Education Facilitator to join our remote team. You will design and implement IEPs, deliver one-on-one or small group instruction online, and collaborate with parents and teachers to support diverse learners.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred), at least 3 years of experience with disabled students, and proficiency with online platforms and assistive tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field; a Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of various disabilities, learning challenges, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Proficiency in using online learning platforms and assistive technologies for remote instruction.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills, crucial for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to create a positive, structured, and supportive virtual learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of students with disabilities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group specialized instruction and support to students through online platforms.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment for each student.
• Utilize assistive technologies and adaptive resources to facilitate student engagement and learning.
• Monitor student progress, document achievements, and provide regular feedback to stakeholders regarding IEP goals.
• Adapt teaching materials and strategies to meet the unique learning styles and challenges of students with special needs.
