Kwena Human Capital is seeking a Remote Solar Energy Consultant to advise clients on solar energy solutions from anywhere. You will assess needs, design PV systems, and guide clients from consultation to installation, while staying abreast of technologies and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the solar energy industry, with focus on system design or sales consulting.
• Proficiency with solar design and modeling software (PVsyst, Aurora Solar).
• Strong understanding of photovoltaic technology, inverters, battery storage, and grid interconnection.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a remote client base.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote consultations with potential clients to assess energy needs and suitability for solar installations.
• Design customized solar PV system layouts and specifications using specialized software.
• Provide detailed proposals outlining system design, costs, projected savings, and payback periods.
• Explain technical aspects of solar energy systems, incentives, and financing options to clients.
• Liaise with installation partners and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Stay updated on the latest solar technologies, industry trends, and relevant regulations.
