This role is fundamentally remote-first, focusing on providing expert technical guidance, virtual support, and remote project oversight for solar panel installation teams across various locations, with a strong emphasis on the **Stellenbosch, Western Cape** region. Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and guidance to field installation teams for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Review installation plans, schematics, and site reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues encountered during solar panel installations via remote communication channels (phone, video conferencing, email).
• Assist in the planning and optimization of installation workflows to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and best practices during installations through remote supervision and guidance.
• Conduct virtual quality assurance checks and provide feedback to installation crews.
• Maintain detailed records of remote support interactions, issues resolved, and recommendations provided.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solar Panel Installer or Technician, with a strong understanding of PV system components and installation processes.
