Placements24 seeks a dedicated Remote Solar Energy Analyst to join their innovative team. The role focuses on analyzing solar energy project data, evaluating performance, and supporting strategic planning across regions, with a fully remote work setup.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or related field, at least 3 years of data analysis experience in renewable energy, and proficiency with Excel, Python, R, SQL, and PV modeling software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in renewable energy.
• Proficiency with Excel, Python, R and SQL; PV performance modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze PV system performance data to identify trends and improvements.
• Develop and maintain performance models, including yield forecasts and financials.
• Prepare reports and presentations on project performance for management.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis in solar energy.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to optimize designs and operations.
• Stay updated on solar tech advances and regulatory changes.
