Job summary

Core Code io is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Analyst to evaluate applications and ensure they meet business and technical requirements. The role emphasizes strong QA methodologies, test planning, and clear defect communication.

You will design test scenarios, execute manual and automated tests, manage defects, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teammates to improve product quality across browsers and platforms. Remote-ready with strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with manual software testing.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.
• Experience with test management tools.
• Knowledge of web apps, APIs, databases, and SQL is beneficial.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify testing needs.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
• Execute manual and automated tests across software applications and environments.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and QA stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in release validation and deployment readiness.
