Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Social Media Marketing Executive to drive engagement and sales for an e-commerce brand. This fully remote role in Mossel Bay involves developing social media strategies, creating content, and analyzing performance to maximize online revenue.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in social media marketing, strong content creation skills, and proficiency with analytics tools. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media marketing, preferably within an e-commerce context.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and high-performing social media content.
• Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative social media strategies across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) to support e-commerce sales goals.
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including graphics, videos, and compelling copy, tailored to specific platforms and target audiences.
• Actively monitor social media channels, engage with the community, respond to comments and messages, and manage brand reputation online.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce team to align social media campaigns with product launches, promotions, and overall marketing objectives.
• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices in the e-commerce space.
