Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative Social Media Marketing Manager to lead brand presence, community engagement and growth across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok in a remote-first setup within South Africa.

You will develop content strategies, manage content creation and paid campaigns, monitor trends, analyze performance, and collaborate with designers to ensure consistent branding and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience leading social media campaigns with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in strategy development, content creation, community management, and analytics.
• Familiarity with social media tools and platform algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing and business goals.
• Create, curate, and manage content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.
• Monitor channels for trends, feedback, and competition; respond in a brand-appropriate manner.
• Build and nurture an active online community and encourage user-generated content.
• Plan and execute paid social campaigns to increase reach and conversions.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights and reports.
• Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to ensure brand consistency.
• Manage social media crises and customer service issues professionally.
• Identify and engage influencers and brand advocates.
