Placements24 is seeking an innovative and experienced Remote Skincare Product Developer to join a globally distributed team. You will conceptualize, formulate, and bring cutting-edge skincare products to market, leveraging your scientific expertise and market insights to meet consumer needs and brand objectives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects remotely, and contribute to the development lifecycles from concept to launch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of skincare product development and formulation experience.
• Proven track record of launching skincare products from concept to market.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, functions and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and disciplined remote work habits.

Responsibilities

• Research market trends, consumer insights and competitor activities to identify new product opportunities.
• Develop innovative skincare formulations focusing on efficacy, safety and sensory appeal.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers for pilot batching, scale-up and production.
• Conduct stability testing, compatibility studies and efficacy assessments for new formulations.
• Prepare comprehensive product development documentation including ingredient lists, specs and manufacturing instructions.
• Work with marketing, regulatory and QA to ensure successful product launches.

Education

Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or related scientific field
