Placements24 is seeking a highly innovative Remote Advanced Beauty & Skincare Product Developer to join our R&D team. You will conceptualize, formulate, and test cutting-edge skincare products from your home office, collaborating with marketing, regulatory, and manufacturing to bring ideas to market.
The role requires a chemistry or cosmetic science degree and at least six years of hands-on development experience, with a proven track record of launching new products and strong project management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy or related field.
- At least 6 years hands-on skincare formulation experience.
- Proven ability to launch new beauty products.
- Deep knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
- Experience with remote collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of skincare formulations from concept to commercialization.
- Research active ingredients, trends and technologies in the beauty industry.
- Perform benchtop formulation, stability testing and efficacy evaluations.
- Collaborate with marketing for consumer needs and branding.
- Coordinate with regulatory to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Troubleshoot formulation challenges and optimize scalable processes.
