Our client is looking for a highly skilled and innovative Senior UI/UX Designer to join their globally distributed, remote-first team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and interface design for our cutting-edge digital products. You will lead design initiatives from conception through to execution, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning interfaces. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design across web and mobile platforms. You will be a key contributor to defining our design system and ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for new features and products, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and prototyping.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive user flows, journey maps, and personas to understand user needs and behaviors.
• Create intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces across various digital platforms.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing.
• Champion user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization.
• Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong focus on digital products.
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of web and mobile development principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
• Experience with design systems is highly preferred.
