Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Telecoms Network Planner to join our team on a fully remote basis. You will forecast future network needs, design expansion projects, and allocate resources to support growing demand.

You will shape the future of our client's network infrastructure, make data-driven decisions to optimize capacity and performance across service areas, and collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver feasible plans.

Qualifications

A recognised degree in telecommunications or electrical engineering.
8+ years of experience in network planning, design, or engineering.
Strong knowledge of mobile and fixed-line tech (4G/5G, fiber, broadband).
Proficiency with network planning tools and simulation software.

Responsibilities

Develop long-term network expansion plans and capacity forecasts based on traffic analysis and market trends.
Design detailed network architectures for new service rollouts and upgrades, considering infrastructure aspects.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure feasibility and efficiency of proposed plans.
Analyze network performance data to identify improvements and cost optimization.
Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and reports for management review and approval.
Stay abreast of new telecoms technologies and industry best practices to inform planning strategies.
