Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Senior Security Architect to guide global cybersecurity strategy from a home office. You will design secure, scalable enterprise architectures, define standards, evaluate technologies, and ensure security is integrated across IT and business processes.

The role requires collaboration with teams across time zones, strong stakeholder influence, and leadership in risk mitigation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; CISSP-ISSAP or SABSA desirable.
• 10+ years in information security with architecture/design focus.
• Experience designing complex security architectures in large enterprises, including cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect security solutions for on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop and maintain enterprise security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Lead evaluation of new security technologies to enhance the posture.
• Guide security for application development, infrastructure, and data protection.
• Align security architecture with IT objectives with stakeholders.
• Oversee security aspects of major IT projects, ensuring risk mitigation.
