Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Retail Architect to design flagship stores, shopping centers, and commercial precincts. The role is primarily remote, with emphasis on translating brand identities into compelling spaces.

The ideal candidate has a robust retail design portfolio, expert knowledge of customer experience, branding, and current trends, plus strong technical and project-management skills to lead multiple projects across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, SACAP registered.
• 7+ years professional experience in architecture, 4+ years in retail design.
• Strong portfolio of high-end retail or commercial projects.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for retail projects from concept to construction docs.
• Collaborate with clients, marketing teams, and brand strategists to meet design objectives.
• Develop innovative, functional designs to enhance customer experience and brand presence.
• Create detailed drawings, specs, and presentations for retail environments.
• Manage multiple retail projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Oversee site analyses, feasibility studies, and site selections for new developments.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and fabricators to realize design intent.
• Stay abreast of retail design trends, tech, and consumer behavior.
