Placements24 seeks an innovative R&D Mechanical Engineer for a fully remote position. You will drive research and development of new mechanical technologies from ideation through prototyping and initial testing, contributing to IP and product concepts.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, with 7+ years of experience in R&D or advanced engineering design, and strong remote collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
7+ years in R&D, product innovation or advanced engineering design.
Ability to conceptualize, design, and prototype novel mechanical systems.
Strong communication for remote collaboration.
Experience with simulation tools and experimental testing.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and conceptualize new mechanical designs and product ideas.
Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept models to validate innovative concepts.
Perform theoretical analysis and simulations to assess feasibility and performance.
Collaborate with remote R&D teams, materials scientists, and external partners.
Document research findings, technical proposals, and experimental results.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and related technologies.
