Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join a highly skilled team on a fully remote basis. The role centers on developing and implementing sophisticated mathematical models for trading, risk management, and pricing derivatives within the Banking & Finance sector.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
• 5+ years experience as a Quantitative Analyst in Banking & Finance (asset management/hedge funds).
• Proficient in Python, C++, or R; strong quantitative research and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and backtest quantitative trading models and algorithms.
• Build pricing and risk models for financial instruments.
• Implement models in production using high-level programming languages.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trading opportunities and market patterns.
• Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and technologists to refine strategies.
