Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead vision, strategy and execution for our digital FMCG offerings from a fully remote position within South Africa. You will define the product roadmap, write specs and collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver impactful solutions.

You will leverage data-driven insights, manage stakeholders, and drive growth through iterative product improvements while maintaining a strong focus on user experience and market needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 5-7 years of product management experience, preferably in FMCG or technology.
• Proven success launching and scaling digital products.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate product vision and strategy with market and customer research.
• Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features by business value and feasibility.
• Write detailed product specifications and user stories for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create engaging user experiences.
• Act as the product evangelist, communicating plans to stakeholders and customers.
• Analyze product metrics and iterate based on user feedback.
