Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Affairs Specialist specializing in Infectious Diseases. This remote role focuses on developing medical strategy, engaging with KOLs and HCPs, and disseminating scientific information for infectious disease programs.

You will lead medical education initiatives, collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams, and provide trial support with protocol input and investigator engagement, ensuring compliance and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in medical affairs, clinical research, or related role in pharma/biotech with infectious diseases focus.
• Remote work capability and self-motivation for independent contribution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to present complex medical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic medical affairs plans for infectious disease products.
• Identify, engage and build relationships with KOLs and HCPs.
• Generate and disseminate high-quality scientific information via publications, presentations, and advisory boards.
• Support medical education programs and resources for HCPs.
• Collaborate with R&D, commercial, and regulatory to align product strategy.
• Provide scientific input for clinical trials and investigator engagement.
• Stay current with literature, guidelines, and market trends in infectious diseases.
• Monitor and report adverse events and safety information.
