Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a distinguished pharmaceutical leader to recruit a Lead Medical Affairs Manager (Immunology). This senior, remote-first role shapes the medical strategy for immunology products and enables global scientific engagement from your home office.

You will lead a team of medical science liaisons, interact with key opinion leaders, oversee data generation and publications, and ensure compliant medical activities across regions, including Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive medical affairs experience in pharma.
• Experience leading medical affairs teams and developing strategic medical plans.
• Proven ability to engage with KOLs/HCPs and drive scientific exchange.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the medical affairs strategy for immunology products.
• Lead a team of MSLs in a remote setting.
• Engage with KOLs and HCPs to foster scientific exchange.
• Oversee generation and dissemination of publications and educational materials.
• Provide medical expertise to marketing, R&D and regulatory teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations.
• Contribute to trial protocol development and data interpretation.
• Identify medical opportunities within immunology and manage budgets.
