Placements24 is seeking a Principal Medical Affairs Specialist to drive medical strategy and engage key opinion leaders from a fully remote position. Occasional travel to Pretoria, Gauteng, will be required to support strategic meetings and regional collaborations.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced life sciences degree and has 8+ years in medical affairs or related pharma roles, with proven experience in KOL engagement, scientific communication, and medical education.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare field.
• 8+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or related role in pharma.
• Experience in KOL engagement, scientific communication, and medical education.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute medical affairs strategies aligned with global and local objectives.
• Engage with KOLs and healthcare professionals to build relationships and gather insights.
• Provide scientific and clinical expertise to internal stakeholders on products and therapeutic areas.
• Support the development of medical communications, publications, and presentations.
• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to medical education programs and advisory boards.
• Stay updated on scientific advancements, trial data, and market trends in relevant areas.
• Support regulatory submissions and respond to medical information requests.
• Collaborate with clinical operations on trial design and execution as needed.
• Manage budgets and resources for medical affairs activities in Gauteng and beyond.
