Qualifications

• Master or PhD in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• 5+ years of experience in market risk management or quantitative analysis in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of markets, instruments, and risk principles.
• Proficient in R, Python, or MATLAB for modeling and analysis.
• Experience with risk management systems and databases.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and validate market risk models (VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis).
• Monitor risk exposures across asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives).
• Prepare risk reports and present findings to senior management and risk committees.
• Collaborate with trading desks to understand risk drivers and mitigation strategies.
