Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior HSE Advisor to provide critical support for remote operations, enabling health, safety, and environmental excellence across diverse operational areas without being site-based.

You will develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and promote a robust safety culture while coordinating with management, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and safe working practices in a fully remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HSE roles, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management programs and safety management systems.
• Strong auditing, investigation, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems across all operational sites.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to management and operational teams on HSE matters, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees and contractors.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety and environmental performance.
