Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Grid Integration Engineer to join our pioneering team and help expand renewable energy within the national grid. This fully remote role focuses on stable and reliable integration of solar, wind, and other renewables into existing power infrastructure.

You will apply deep technical knowledge to grid stability, power quality, and system planning while collaborating with project developers, grid operators, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in power system analysis and grid integration of renewable energy.
• Proficiency in grid simulation software: PSS/E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
• Strong understanding of power system dynamics, control systems, and grid codes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the impact of renewable energy generation on grid stability and performance.
• Develop interconnection studies and technical requirements for new renewable energy projects.
• Create and review grid connection studies, including load flow, short circuit, and stability analyses.
• Collaborate with utility companies and regulatory bodies on grid connection agreements and compliance.
• Provide technical expertise on power system planning and operational issues related to renewables.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices in grid integration.
