Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geology, Geophysics, or related Earth Science.
• 8+ years of geological exploration experience in Oil & Gas.
• Expertise in seismic interpretation, well log analysis, and modeling software.
• Strong knowledge of sequence stratigraphy, structural geology, and sedimentology.
• Ability to integrate diverse datasets and manage exploration risk.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in frontier and mature basin exploration is desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze seismic, well log, and core data to interpret geological structures and stratigraphy.
• Identify and evaluate potential hydrocarbon prospects and de-risk exploration plays.
• Develop geological models and contribute to basin analysis studies.
• Collaborate with geophysicists and reservoir engineers to integrate geological data with other subsurface information.
• Utilize advanced geological software for data processing, visualization, and interpretation.
• Prepare geological reports, presentations, and prospect assessments for management and joint venture partners.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in geological technologies and exploration methodologies.
• Participate in exploration team meetings and contribute to strategic planning sessions.
• Mentor junior geologists and share expertise within the exploration team.
• Contribute to data management and quality assurance processes for geological datasets.
