Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its fully remote finance team. You will manage month-end close, prepare financial statements, ensure IFRS compliance, and oversee AP/AR while providing analysis to support decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or e-commerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African accounting regulations.
• Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for a remote setting.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Must have reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.

Responsibilities
