Placements24 is seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist for a fully remote role in the global mining sector. You will leverage advanced geological expertise to identify mineral resources, develop models, and guide exploration programs across diverse terrains with a focus on precious and base metals.

The position requires 8+ years of experience, strong mapping skills, and the ability to work independently from a remote workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration geology.
• Extensive knowledge of deposit models for commodities (gold, copper, PGEs).
• Proficiency in geological mapping, structural analysis, and stratigraphic interpretation.
• Experience with Leapfrog, ArcGIS, ioGAS, or similar exploration software.
• Familiarity with geophysical and geochemical exploration methods and data interpretation.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present complex geological information.
