About the Role

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will play a pivotal role in the discovery of new mineral resources by designing, implementing, and interpreting geochemical exploration programs. This includes managing sampling, data acquisition, laboratory analysis, and advanced statistical interpretation to identify and define prospective targets. Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage comprehensive geochemical exploration programs (soil, stream, rock, and drill core sampling).

• Select appropriate analytical methods and laboratories, and manage analytical programs.
• Interpret complex geochemical datasets using advanced statistical techniques and software (e.g., IO GAS, CRM Plus, ArcGIS).
• Integrate geochemical data with geological, geophysical, and other exploration datasets to generate and rank targets.
• Prepare detailed geochemical maps, reports, and presentations for management and technical teams.
• Provide expert geochemical advice and mentorship to exploration geologists and geochemists.
• Stay current with advancements in exploration geochemistry, analytical techniques, and data analysis.
• Contribute to the development of exploration strategy and portfolio management.
• Ensure all exploration activities comply with company standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geochemistry, Applied Geology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in mineral exploration geochemistry, with a proven track record of successful target definition.
• Expertise in various geochemical exploration methods and sampling techniques for diverse deposit types.
• Strong proficiency in multivariate statistical analysis and geochemical data visualization.
• Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) and geochemical database management systems.
• Excellent understanding of geological controls on mineralization and their relationship to geochemical signatures.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a remote setting.
