About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our client's cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will be responsible for automating and streamlining software development and deployment processes, collaborating closely with development and operations teams. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment strategies, fostering a DevOps culture in a remote setting .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or software engineering with a focus on operations.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their core services.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
