Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer to join their remote team and lead the development of data warehousing solutions.

You will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, ensure data quality, and collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Hands-on with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and Python for data manipulation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
