Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Data Engineer for a fully remote, international team. You will design and maintain robust data pipelines, support analytics, and ensure data quality across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Collaboration with data scientists and analysts is essential.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and Python or Scala skills, and hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and big data technologies such as Spark and Kafka.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala.
• Hands-on cloud data services experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka and ETL/ELT.
• Strong data modeling and DB design skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT.
• Develop data warehousing and data lakes to support analytics.
