Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a significant focus on insurance.
• Expert proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Advanced programming skills in Python or R for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and experimental design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain advanced analytical models and dashboards to track KPIs and business trends.
• Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources using SQL, Python, or R.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and insights related to customer behavior, risk assessment, claims analysis, and market opportunities.
• Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of new initiatives and strategies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, underwriting, and claims, to understand their data needs and deliver relevant analytical solutions.
• Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences through compelling visualizations and presentations.
• Mentor junior data analysts and contribute to the development of best practices in data analysis and reporting.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data analytics tools, techniques, and industry trends, particularly within the insurance domain.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to data governance policies.
