Placements24, a dynamic FinTech company, is seeking a remote Senior Data Analyst to join our expanding BI team. You will extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets to deliver actionable insights that guide strategic decisions, build dashboards, and support product, marketing, and engineering initiatives.

In a remote-first environment, you will design data models, implement data quality checks, mentor junior analysts, and stay ahead of BI trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and extraction.
Extensive experience with at least one major BI tool (Tableau/Power BI/Looker).
Strong understanding of statistical concepts and analytical methodologies.
Experience with data modeling and database concepts.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract data from various sources.
Design, build, and manage interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical needs into technical requirements.
Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and problem-solving.
Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Mentor junior data analysts and promote BI best practices.
