Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a fully remote role in the Energy sector. You will monitor security infrastructure, lead incident response, and strengthen OT/ICS defenses across our digital assets.

You’ll work with SIEMs, threat intelligence, vulnerability testing, and security controls, while communicating complex risks to non-technical stakeholders. This remote-first position rewards self-discipline and proactive collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of cybersecurity experience with IT/OT focus in Energy.
• Proven experience with SIEM, network security monitoring and threat intel.
• Knowledge of NIST / ISO 27001 and ICS/SCADA security.

Responsabilités

• Monitor security infrastructure (firewalls, IDPS, SIEM).
• Analyze alerts to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
• Conduct forensic investigations and develop incident response plans.
• Implement and manage security controls for OT/ICS environments.
• Develop cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Stay current with threats and technologies in Energy sector.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Provide guidance to IT/ops staff on security best practices.
• Collaborate to ensure secure new systems and applications.
• Prepare reports on security status and recommendations.
