Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Commercial Project Manager to lead high-value commercial projects from their Vereeniging base. The role requires strategic planning, execution, and profitability oversight for global clients.

You will oversee feasibility, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across the full project lifecycle, delivering superior results in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial project management.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets and complex stakeholder groups.
• Strong negotiation, communication and leadership skills.
• Understanding of commercial law, contract management and financial principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
• PMP or similar certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for commercial ventures from feasibility to handover.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, budget, and resources.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Oversee project finances including cost control and profitability analysis.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and project risks to meet objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders with clear communication.
