Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Manager to lead country-level clinical study delivery, from start-up through close-out, ensuring adherence to protocol requirements, ICH GCP and regulatory standards. You will guide local study teams, manage budgets and timelines, and drive inspection readiness in a sponsor-dedicated model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy or related field.
• Significant clinical research experience in a CRA, Senior CRA, Study Management or related Clinical Operations role.
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP, clinical trial regulations and country-specific requirements.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing clinical studies across full lifecycle.
• Strong project and stakeholder management with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel approx. 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Local Study Teams to deliver studies on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Oversee country-level startup activities including feasibility, site selection, regulatory submissions and activation.
• Manage study progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide guidance to CRAs and ensure compliance with protocols, ICH GCP and sponsor requirements.
• Manage budgets, investigator contracts, site payments, study systems and vendor activities within the country.
• Maintain inspection readiness through TMF/eTMF documentation, audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with global study teams and vendors to support patient recruitment and study delivery.
