Placements24 is hiring a Senior Blockchain Engineer for a fully remote, globally distributed team. You will design, develop, and deploy blockchain applications, optimize performance, and ensure security across platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in software with 3+ years in blockchain, plus strong Go/Rust/Solidity skills, cryptography knowledge, and experience with smart contracts and dApps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain development.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain development, such as Go, Rust, C++, or Solidity.
• Solid understanding of blockchain concepts, consensus algorithms, distributed ledger technology, and cryptography.
• Experience with developing and deploying smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a remote, team‑oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality blockchain applications and protocols.
• Optimize blockchain network performance, transaction throughput, and overall system efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code using relevant programming languages (e.g., Go, Rust, Solidity).
