Placements24 is seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join a remote-first distributed team serving clients worldwide. You will architect, develop, and maintain advanced blockchain solutions, tackle complex challenges, and mentor teammates in a fast-growing crypto environment.

The role emphasizes autonomy, impact, and collaboration across product, design, and QA. You will drive technical roadmap decisions, review code for security and performance, and help shape scalable, secure blockchain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive professional experience as a Blockchain Engineer or Software Engineer with a blockchain focus.
• Deep understanding of blockchain principles, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic techniques.
• Experience working in a remote team environment and using collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure blockchain infrastructure and applications.
• Implement and optimize distributed ledger technologies (DLT) and smart contracts.
• Collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, performance tuning, and security assessments of blockchain systems.
• Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on architectural decisions for new blockchain initiatives.
