Qualifications

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Biophysics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years post-doctoral or industry experience in bioinformatics with a strong focus on structural biology.
• Extensive experience with computational structural biology tools and software (e.g., Schrödinger Suite, MOE, Rosetta, GROMACS).
• Proficiency in Python and relevant bioinformatics libraries.
• Strong understanding of protein structure, function, dynamics, and ligand binding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement computational pipelines for analysis of protein structures (X-ray, cryo-EM, NMR).
• Utilize computational tools for protein structure prediction and modeling.
• Analyze protein-ligand interactions and binding affinities for drug discovery.
• Develop algorithms for molecular dynamics simulations and conformational analysis.
• Collaborate with structural biologists and chemists to interpret data and guide research directions.
• Develop visualization tools for structural bioinformatics data.
• Analyze data from structural genomics and proteomic studies.
• Write high-quality code and documentation for tools and pipelines.
• Stay current with advancements in structural bioinformatics.
