Placements24 is seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator for a globally recognised construction and engineering leader. This fully remote role focuses on implementing and managing BIM processes for large-scale infrastructure projects, coordinating models, and enforcing standards.

You will champion BIM best practices, lead clash detection, train junior staff, and ensure seamless information flow across multidisciplinary teams from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 7+ years of BIM coordination experience, infrastructure focus.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM data management.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific BIM workflows.
• Coordinate and federate multidisciplinary BIM models for architecture, structure, MEP, and infrastructure using Navisworks.
• Lead clash detection processes and coordinate resolution meetings with project teams.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and QC procedures to ensure model integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
• Train and mentor junior BIM staff and project team members on BIM technologies and workflows.
• Manage the BIM content library and families, ensuring consistency with standards.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to meet BIM requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM coordination and management, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure projects. Proven expertise in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant platforms. Demonstrated understanding of infrastructure design and construction processes. Experience in developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans and project BIM standards. Excellent knowledge of clash detection, model federation, and BIM data management. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, essential for a remote role. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a distributed team environment. Demonstrated experience working effectively in a fully remote setting, utilizing collaboration tools and maintaining high productivity.
