Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to join a fully remote team. You will design, develop, and maintain robust server-side logic, ensuring scalability and optimized database performance across Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.

Lead API design (REST/GraphQL), collaborate with product and frontend teams, and contribute to architectural roadmaps while staying current with backend technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Strong experience with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra) databases.
• Solid understanding of API design (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and related services.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker).
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.
• Excellent communication for remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend code and APIs.
