Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer specializing in Backend Development to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems from anywhere in South Africa. You will work with Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, build robust APIs, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years backend software development.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, C#, or Node.js.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong debugging and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
