Placements24 is seeking a Senior Aviation Cybersecurity Analyst to join a distributed security-focused team operating remotely. The role focuses on safeguarding aviation data, systems, and flight operations from evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, SIEM monitoring, and incident response. Candidates should have 7+ years of cybersecurity experience in aviation or critical infrastructure, with relevant certifications and strong collaboration

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's preferred.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity, with aviation/critical infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001; cryptography
• Experience with monitoring tools, IDS/IPS, and SIEM
• Aviation security standards knowledge is advantageous
• CISSP/CISM/GIAC or similar certifications preferred
• Excellent analytical and collaboration skills in a remote team

Responsabilidades

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of aviation IT infrastructure and systems.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect against threats.
• Monitor network traffic and security alerts, respond to incidents and breaches.
• Perform penetration testing and security audits to identify weaknesses.
• Design and deploy security solutions for aviation networks, software, and hardware.
• Stay updated on threats and technologies relevant to aviation cybersecurity.
• Deliver cybersecurity awareness training for relevant personnel.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve security posture.
• Create and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Respond to and manage security incidents and coordinate recovery efforts.
