Ideal candidates possess a mechanical/electrical engineering background with 8+ years in QA, SPC experience, and proficiency in quality management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of automotive quality assurance/quality control experience.
• Deep knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and measurement devices.
• Experience with SPC and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Strong understanding of IATF 16949 and related standards.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in quality management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of automotive parts, sub-assemblies, and finished vehicles.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities and potential quality issues.
• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes of defects.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (IATF 16949).
• Perform supplier and internal process audits to verify quality adherence.
• Train junior quality inspectors and production staff on quality standards.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and quality reports.
