Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Algorithmic Trader to join a fully remote, globally distributed team. Lead development and deployment of sophisticated trading strategies across multiple asset classes, leveraging market microstructure insights and advanced statistics.

You will design, back-test, and optimize strategies, monitor live systems, and collaborate with researchers and developers to enhance infrastructure while ensuring risk controls and performance targets are met.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of proven algorithmic trading and strategy development experience.
• Strong programming proficiency in C++, Python, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, back-test, and deploy high-frequency algorithmic trading strategies.
• Analyze market data to identify opportunities and optimize parameters in real time.
• Monitor live trading systems for performance, stability and risk controls.
• Collaborate with researchers and developers to improve trading infrastructure and algorithms.
• Conduct post-trade analysis to refine strategies and improve execution.
