Placements24 is seeking a Senior 3D Environment Artist for fully remote work. You will craft immersive environments for our next-gen games, from modeling to lighting and optimization, collaborating with the art director and other artists to set visual tone and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional experience, a strong portfolio, and solid proficiency in Maya/3ds Max/Blender, Substance Painter/Designer, and major engines like Unreal or Unity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Environment Artist in the game industry.
• Strong portfolio of 3D environment art for video games.
• Proficient in modeling, texturing and lighting workflows.
• Experience with real-time rendering optimization and game engines.

Responsabilités

• Create high-quality 3D environment assets including models, textures, and materials.
• Assemble environments in the game engine with strong lighting and atmosphere.
• Optimize assets for performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with art director and designers to define visual style.
• Develop and maintain understanding of PBR workflows.
• Create tileable textures, decals and props for game worlds.
• Participate in art reviews and provide feedback.
• Troubleshoot environment art technical issues.
