Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical SEM Specialist to plan, implement, and manage paid search campaigns on Google Ads and Bing Ads from a Pretoria-based remote setup. You will drive qualified traffic and conversions through keyword research, bid management, and performance analysis.

You will optimize campaigns to improve CTR and ROAS, generate regular reports, and stay up-to-date with SEM trends. The role offers fully remote work and strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SEM Specialist or similar digital marketing role.
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Bing Ads platforms.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to SEM.
• Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics to measure campaign success.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search engines.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
• Optimize bids, budgets, targeting, and ad copy to improve CTR, ROAS and conversions.
• Monitor performance daily, track metrics, and generate regular reports with insights.
• Implement A/B testing for ad copy, landing pages, and targeting to improve results.
