Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and book meetings to fuel pipeline for our client-facing team.

You will craft personalized outreach using LinkedIn, email and phone, maintain clean records in Salesforce, and work with your Account Executives to maximize conversion while proving you can work remotely in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role (agency or SaaS experience a plus).
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
